- Post Office: 7.5% (5 years) | Senior Citizens: Extra 0.5%
TDS on FD Interest
- TDS Rate: 10% if annual interest > ₹40,000 (₹50,000 for senior citizens)
- Submit Form 15G/15H to avoid TDS if total income is below taxable limit
